AYYYY I have a problem with books. I love books. I love looking at them. I love reading their inside content. I love their covers (most of the time). I love the smell. And of course, I love buying them. It’s like a drug.
You all know what I’m talking about.
Once you start buying books, YOU CAN’T STOP. YOU MUST HAVE THEM ALL!
Because I try not to get too many books at once, I’ve decided to combine all the books I got this fall. (I have 10 total)
LET US BEGIN!
Because many of these books are super famous and you probably read/heard of it, I’m not going to go into the synopsis (I’ll link the Goodreads page in case you don’t know what the book is about). Also, I’m feeling super lazy at the moment.
September
I got Queen of Shadows on its release date and have already read it. If you want to see my review on it, click here. (Just a fair warning, there are some major spoilers in there)
I also got Winger by Andrew Smith. I haven’t read it yet, but I’m going to try and get to it A.S.A.P.
I got The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin. I have already read this and you can read my thoughts here.
Aaaaaand I also got Every Day by David Levithan. I haven’t read this one yet but I’m excited to get to it soon.
October
You remember when all the books were released on October 10th? Uh, yeah. I got some of them.
I haven’t gotten to Carry On by Rainbow Rowell yet, but I’m really hoping to soon because I heard it was fantastic.
I also got The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan at my trip to Barnes and Noble. I couldn’t resist. I also haven’t read this book yet (reading slumps can be a big pain in the butt).
November
This is the month when I dived into the deeper end of my reading slump. But that didn’t stop me from getting more books!
I listened to the audiobook of A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab and it was… I don’t even have words for it. I loved it so much! More on my thoughts here.
And being the sucker that I am, I also bought The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson. I haven’t yet finished reading The Well of Ascension, but I’m getting there.
And a couple days ago, I got two more books after I watched Mockingjay Part II because the movie theater was right next to a Barnes and Noble. I know. I have a problem. A big one.
That’s right. I got Winter by Marissa Meyer and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.
I hope that I can refrain myself from getting too many books in the near future, but who am I kidding. That’s not going to happen.
