‘Tis the season, dear Ned Stark. Winter is no longer coming. It is here.
1) Do you have a favorite winter read?
Honestly, I’m not a person who rereads a lot of books, but I tend to gear toward ones that are set in the winter when the time comes around. Also, I reread little parts of the Harry Potter books when I’m feeling nostalgic.
2) Find a book with blue on the cover.
I have a full shelf dedicated for blue book:
Here ya go.
3) Find a book you’d use as the star on a Christmas tree.
Any of the Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Throne of Glass, or Mistborn books. Choose your pick.
4) Pick one fictional place that would be perfect for a winter vacation.
Hogwarts. Hogwarts. Hogwarts. Hogwarts. Hands down this is my #1 fictional place I want to visit. Doesn’t matter what time of year it is, but I think Hogwarts would be so beautiful in the winter time.
5) Pick one fictional character you’d take with you on your winter vacation.
I would love to go on winter vacation with Leo Valdez from the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan. He’s hilarious, and loves to tinker with things. Just imagine what a snowball fight would be like…
6) Name one book on your wish list this year.
Ever since I’ve seen the trailer of the movie adaptation, I’ve really wanted to read The Martian by Andy Weir. My friend’s currently reading it and she said it’s fantastic.
7) Favorite holiday drink, treat, & movie?
I’m sticking with the classics for this question. I love to drink hot cocoa with marshmellows and eat gooey chocolate chip cookies on a cold, winter day. I also love to watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the animated version, because the one with real life actors look creepy af) and The Polar Express reruns on TV.
