I was tagged by the lovely Ariana over at The Quirky Book Nerd and Aralyn over at Paper Addictions & Magic. Don’t forget to check out (and follow) both of their amazing blogs! I was trying to think of something to post when I got a notification that I was tagged to do this. Thanks so much for tagging me!

Today is the day I confess all my reading secrets.
*exhales*
(don’t worry I’m not hiding anything THAT bad…)
1. Have you ever damaged a book?
Of my own? Yes. I try not to, but being the clumsy person that I am, I have accidentally ripped pages before. I also have the tendency to drop books that I’m holding, which results in folded pages and dented covers. I try to keep my books in the condition I bought them, but sometimes my clumsiness prevents that from happening.
2. Have you ever damaged a borrowed book?
Once again, I try not to. I’m much more careful with borrowed books, but I can’t say that I haven’t ripped pages before. They were little rips (only a centimeter in length at most), but that still means that I’m damaging the book. That’s why I don’t like borrowing books from other people. I have made so many tiny rips in school textbooks just by flipping the page that sometimes I’m scared to use textbooks.
3. How long does it take you to read a book?
That depends on how I’m feeling at the time I’m reading the book. On average, it takes me a week to finish one book. However, lately I’ve been noticing it’s been taking me much longer. Maybe I’m going into a reading slump. Who knows?
4. Books that you haven’t finished?
I don’t like to leave something unfinished, but there are times where I have to set down a book and move on. Here are a couple:
Plus One by Elizabeth Fama
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter
Through the Woods by Emily Carroll
5. Hyped/Popular books you didn’t like?
It’s not like I hated the book, but I didn’t love The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater as much as everyone else seems to love it.
6. Is there a book you wouldn’t tell anyone you were reading?
No. I’m not ashamed in what I read.
7. How many books do you own?
Physically? About 100. If you’re asking me to include ebooks, I have way too many to count.
8. Are you a fast reader or a slow reader?
I like to think I’m read at a fairly average pace. I’m not a speedy reader, but I don’t think I’m slow either.
9. Do you like to buddy read?
Confession time! (hence the title) I’ve never buddy read before. Most of the time, I would read something and enjoy it, and then tell my friend to read it. Or visa versa.
Even though I’ve never done it before, it sounds like a fun time and I definitely want to try it sometime in the near future.
10. Do you read better in your head or out loud?
In my head. I only read out loud when I can’t concentrate.
11. If you were only allowed to own one book, what would it be and why?
Is there a book that contains all seven books of the Harry Potter series? No? Dang it. Then I would choose either The Help by Katherine Stockett or The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Both are my all-time favorites.

Thank you for the tag, and I love your answers! If only there was a book containing all seven Harry Potter stories… xx

It would be super thick, but I would buy a book with all of the Harry Potter books if it was possible 😄

Thank you so much for the tag! Can’t wait to get started on this one 🙂 Honestly, the worst part about big books (i.e textbooks) is that often without meaning to, you’ll tear a page while turning! Who would ever dare to purposefully tear a book… Right?

Hahaha I know right? I don’t try and tear the pages of my textbooks but it always seem to happen 😄

Oooh, I’ve got Through the Woods on my bookshelf for a year now and haven’t gotten around to reading it yet. Did you leave it unfinished because you didn’t like it or because you’re as lazy as I am? 😉 I’m so to read I’m not the only one who reads out loud when being unable to concentrate. I do that when there’s a lot of noise outside. Or when I’m studying and am bored out of my mind ^^. Thank you for the tag! :3

I couldn’t finish Through the Woods because I’m a big scaredy cat and the book was too creepy for me.
Can’t wait to see your answers! 💕

Hahaha, but that’s brave to admit! 😉 I saw a few of the stories in it online and one looked creepy as hell. So I think I’m going to save it for Halloween :D.
