My Ultimate OTPs

One of the things I love the most about reading is fangirling over OTPs. If you’re not familiar with fangirl lingo, OTP stands for One True Pairing. You believe that this couple was born for each other. You might go as far as saying that the fate of humanity lies on whether or not they stays together in the end of the story. Regardless, you believe that this couple is meant for each other.

I have a few OTPs. Actually, scratch that. I have a lot of OTPs. However, I only have a couple of couples (cringe-worthy pun intended) that I’m hardcore about defending and think about almost every single day.

Just a fair warning: there’s a lot of fangirling ahead so be prepared.

They’ve been through so much crap together that the world needs to give them a break so that they can be happy and relaxed for once. Is that too much to ask for?

(I couldn’t find any fan art for this series so I just went with the cover of the first book.)

The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare

Look at them! They are so freaking cute that my heart sometimes can’t take in all the adorable-ness. They are meant for each other. Don’t even deny it.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

They’re so cute. They’re so CUTE. THEY’RE SO CUTE! I mean, look at them! Cath has emergency dance parties and Levi doesn’t even judges. He just joins her instead! If that isn’t a cute relationship, I don’t know what is.

Feysand | Feyre + Rhysand

A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas

Feyre and Rhysand have relationship goals. First of all, Rhysand is a feminist. Secondly, the obstacles in their path drew Feyre and Rhysand closer together rather than split them apart. Third, squad goals.

Rowaelin | Rowan + Aelin

Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas

Yeah. I can’t go a single post without somehow mentioning the Throne of Glass series.  If you don’t know already, I love the Throne of Glass series and I love Rowan and Aelin together. They are the ultimate warrior/assassin couple, and Sarah J. Maas better not kill Rowan off because my heart will die from the grief his death (if it happens) will cause.
