Seven Things About Me

1. I’m obsessed with Voltron right now

I recently started Voltron on Netflix, and I’m hooked. My friend was pestering me about watching it, and now I understand why she’s so obsessed. The style of animation reminds me of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It’s not quite anime, but it’s getting there. It’s in between cartoons and anime. I’m sure there’s a name for the style of animation, but I don’t know it.

2. I like watching people (way to not sound creepy, Jessica!)

Here me out. Whenever I sit in the passenger seat of a car, I like to look outside the window to watch people and guess what they’re occupation is, where they’re going at the moment, who their family is, how they’re living their life, etc. Basically, I’m making a life scenario for them. It’s actually pretty entertaining.

For example, I see a woman driving in her car, and I would think:

She’s 35 years old, on her way to work where her job is to get rid of buttholes that are hurting innocent people, but first she’s going to stop at Starbucks to get her daily cappuccino (Got to get that caffeine in before work, am I right?). She’s been undercover for about six years and have been training all her life. Secretly, she’s a ninja, but she doesn’t want anyone to know so she dresses like a normal civilian. She has a loving husband and two kids, but none of them know the double life she’s living. None of them will ever know. Ever.

And then the woman would drive away because the light turned green and I look for my next victim.

Looking back at what I wrote, I realize I don’t sound any less creepy. I swear I’m not trying to be creepy. Give it a shot and let your imagination flow. It’s a great game to play with others when you’re bored.

3. I’m a sympathetic crier

Every time I see someone cry, I start crying. I don’t have to be sad or anything. I’ll just cry. I cry when I see animals crying. I cry when I see cartoon characters crying. I just cry when others cry.

4. I’m a worry wart

I worry about everything, down to things I know I shouldn’t worry about. My imagination doesn’t help my situation either.

5. I can’t stand long nails on myself

I think long nails look great on other people, but for someone who hands-on, I hate long nails. Whenever I do grow out my nails, I get stuff stuck underneath it and it feels super gross. Also, I grew up with super short nails because playing a string instrument with nails is very difficult and occasionally painful. I’m so used to having shorter nails that I don’t like longer nails.

6. Procrastination is my middle name

I procrastinate, especially during the times when I shouldn’t be procrastinating. The more I need to be doing something, the more I don’t do it. I don’t know why my mind works like this.

7. I tend to forget to answer at least one question in book tags

I don’t know how I missed it, but if you look through some of the tags I’ve done recently, I forgot to answer a question/category. I swear I’m not doing it on purpose. I sometimes skip a question when I can’t think of an answer, and it must slip my mind to go back and answer it.

It is! It’s calming, in a way, and it’s a great way to pass the time.

Thank you for nominating me! I loved reading your post, it made me smile. Watching people and making up stories for them doesn’t seem that creepy to me, I can see how it could be a lot of fun!

Ok I feel like you are a clone of me (or I’m a clone of you) because I would am exactly the same as you (except for the Voltron one). Congrats on the nomination, I always enjoy your posts 🙂

Thanks for the shout out and congratulations! 😀
I don’t make up scenarios for people but I do sometimes like to deduce them like Sherlock. It’s a good way to pass the time and feel good about yourself lol.
    Awesome post. 🙂

Thank you so much for nominating me ❤
Procrastination is my first, middle and last name, haha When I should be doing something useful, I just stay on my computer for hours (I should change that, tho)
I don't usually imagine stories for people, but I like to hear their conversations especially when it's in a foreign language – I like to guess where do they come from, and if I know the language, I try to identify some words (that's even creepier haha)

      You’re welcome! 💕
I also sometimes try to guess where people are from by hearing what language they speak. I think we all do creepy things at times 😂
