I was tagged by Closet Readers. Thank you so much for tagging me!
I love Goodreads. It’s my go-to when I want to look up a book or find new ones that I potentially will read. I like the think of it like the bookish social media. You can connect with other book lovers and talk about anything and everything (although most of the time the topic is book-related, not all the conversations on the platform is so).
All you have to do to start is log into your Goodreads account and answer the questions.
What was the last book you marked as read?
Ah. This is embarrassing. It’s been a while since I finished a book, so the last book I marked as read was The Problem with Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout on February 7, 2017. It’s been over a month since I finished a book. That’s okay though. I’m reading again, and it feels great.
What are you currently reading?
I’m actually reading several books at once right now. I like to start a whole bunch of books but never finish them. It’s a problem sometimes. I’m reading:
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
Survivors Club by Michael Bornstein and Debbit Bornstein Holinstat
Legend by Marie Lu
What was the last book you marked as “to read”
The last book I added was First Year by Rachel E. Carter because a friend on Goodreads recommended it to me. It seemed interesting and she was raving about it so I decided to add it to my ever-growing TBR list.
Do you use the star rating system?
Yes I do! I sometimes rate the books I read especially when I liked it to support the author and the book itself. I also use the star rating system to determine whether or not I want to read a book. Sure, the synopsis might sound interesting but if it has a bad rating I might think twice about reading it.
Are you doing the 2017 reading challenge?
Yes! I believe in goals and challenging myself. My goal is to read 24 books this year because I read at the rate of about two books a month nowadays.
Do you have a wishlist?
On Goodreads? No, I don’t have a wishlist. However, I do keep a list of books in my journal in case I happen to find myself in a bookstore and I happen to have a lot spare change on me.
Who are your favorite authors?
There are too many authors I love. Here’s only a few:
J.K. Rowling
Rick Riordan
Sarah J. Maas
Marie Lu
Leigh Bardugo
… and so many more!
Have you joined any groups?
I used to be in a whole bunch of groups but since I was never active in any of them, I decided to leave them. The only two groups I’m in at the moment are Queen Maas’ Assassins (which I rarely go on) and Top 5 Wednesday (only in case I run out of ideas on what to write about).
How many Goodreads shelves do you have?
I have 12 total shelves. There are what I consider the four basics (read, to-read, dnf, on-hold) and eight other shelves (books-owned, childhood, favorites, for-school, re-read, read-2015, read-2016, read-2017).
I tag…
Ava @ Reads, Rhythms, and Ruminations
Gianna @ย The Blogging Dinosaur
Tiana @ The Book Raven
… and all of you lovely folks out there who have a Goodreads account!

This tag sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for the tag! I’m not an avid goodreads user, but I’ve recently become more active. So I’m looking forward to doing this tag. Thanks, again! ๐ And totally agree with your favourite authors there.
