Finding or creating the ideal reading place can be tricky. Any reader knows that there really isn’t a comfortable position to read books (if you have discovered one, please let me know). Sitting down for too long can make your bum go numb (it rhymed!), and lying on your back means that you’re arms will get tired from holding up the book for so long. Plus, you have a higher risk of dropping the book on your face, which isn’t a pleasant experience.
I was inspired by Arhaus.com to create my dream reading space. I had never designed a room before, but it was super fun to experiment around.
Here’s what I came up with.
If I had a room solely dedicated to reading, I would want the atmosphere to be cozy. I want it to be like snuggling in a warm, fluffy blanket with a hot cup of tea on a cold night. The kind of cozy where you never want to leave.
Keep in mind that I chose these items while disregarding the price. I was pretending I had unlimited cash and I wanted to build my dream reading room.

What are some things you want in your perfect reading space?
What’s your favorite snack/drink to consume while devouring a good book?
Do you know any comfortable reading positions?
(Because I would really like to know XD)
Until next time….
This is such a cool post!! I loved the whole concept and I agree that this would be a dream reading space.

Hi, I did this too! It was super fun 🙂
I loved the map you chose. Once I did a 1000 pieces jigsaw puzzle portraying a vintage map, then we glued it together and used it as a painting for the living room

That’s pretty cool! How long did it take you to finish the puzzle?

Around a month. I worked on it with my parents when I was a teen and we only did it in out spare time, but it was a good passtime 🙂
