July 2017 Wrap-up | Summer time = free time

July has been a pretty lowkey month for me, thankfully. I finally had more time to read the books I wanted to rather than read old English that I had to pretend to understand (although I’m sure my English teachers weren’t fooled).

I might not have posted a lot this month (with a whopping total of five posts not including this one) but then I looked back on the past couple months and the amount of posts I make have continually decreased. Now it hovers between 4-6 posts a month. I would say that I plan to post a lot more often but I know I won’t be able to when the new school year comes around.

Minus the fact that I didn’t post as frequently as I would like, I definitely read a lot more than I usually do, which feels GREAT. I can’t believe I was depriving myself of this.

Update on my life

I’m actually traveling right now with my family to the Grand Canyon since my older sister said she wanted to go there sometime. Currently I’m in a hotel to rest for the day since my dad drove 10(!) hours and needed a break. I have never been to the Grand Canyon before, but I’m not sure what to expect because I’m not good with heat. I sweat like a pig year-round, even during the winter. Granted, the winter where I live rarely goes below freezing.

I didn’t do anything interesting this month other than go to a medical camp, which was more in June than July. Other than that, my month has been pretty mild. Because I had a less busy schedule, I had a bit more time for my hobbies like drawing, painting, and reading!

Until next time….

I went to the Grand Canyon when I was really little, so I don’t remember any of it, but I want to go again sometime! Maybe write the mules the have there? I think that’s a thing.

I never knew that riding mules was a thing. Sounds fun, though!

Haha, nevermind I changed my opinion after reading Amanda’s comment.

Former Arizona girl here. The mules are evil. They kick, spit, and occasionally try to fornicate with each other while you are riding them. EVIL MULES! The scenery however is absolutely beautiful and the hiking is amazing. Just stand there at the edge at look out at the wonder of what mother nature can do.

I’m crying. You read ACOWAR then Let’s Pretend This Didn’t Happen 😂 You gave ACOWAR 5 stars but I wasn’t a fan so I just found that funny.

Have fun on your trip! ❤
In July I read more books than what I usually do, as I don't have to worry so much about school haha You didn't have a bad reading month either (and I loved ACOWAR too!)
What are you thinking about Me Before You so far? I'm only asking about that one because it's the only one I've read 😛

      Thanks! ❤
I love Me Before You so far, but I'm not sure I'm ready for the ending. From what my friends told me, I can tell this one's going to be a tear-jerker.

Yikes! Now I’m even more scared to finish it because I’m an ugly crier XD
