Anything but Books Tag

I’ve been looking for a good tag to do because I’m kind of tired of writing book reviews at the moment. Also, it’s raining outside so I might as well stay inside the comforts of my room and blog.

I wasn’t tagged by anyone, but I saw this tag over on Meggy’s blog, Chocolate N’ Waffles. It looked fun and different so I’m going to give it a go.

1. Name a cartoon that you love.

Avatar: The Last Airbender was my CHILDHOOD. I grew up with this cartoon and I still love it with all my heart. When I rewatch my childhood cartoons today, I cringe because of how peppy everyone sounds. That’s not the case for the Avatar. It may be targeted towards children, but it’s great for all ages. It’s also very rewatchable.

2. What is your favorite song right now?

All the songs in the newest Pentatonix album (I linked a playlist with all the songs below)…

… as well as Sandcastles by Beyonce…

… and of course the Broadway musical Hamilton!

3. What could you do for hours that isn’t reading?

If I’m not working or reading, I’m most likely drawing. It’s either that or watching hours upon hours of YouTube videos. Also, getting lost on Tumblr is too easy unless I’m super careful.

4. What is something you love to do that your followers would be surprised by?

I don’t know… I’m not that interesting. I like to yell at the characters in books, movies, and TV shows as if they can hear me. Like, girl HE’S NOT WORTH YOUR TIME! I also like to predict what will happen next. It’s especially fun when you’re watching a cliche show. It’s not fun in GoT, though. Especially when you predict your favorite character is going to die and they do. Yeah. Thanks George R. R. Martin. Now I’m never going to look at doors the same.

5. What is your favorite unnecessarily specific thing to learn about?

Calculus.

HAHAHA just kidding. Who in the world likes calculus? Smart people? People who want to change the world? Probably. I haven’t even taken a calculus class yet. I will this school year, though. Wish me luck!

6. What is something unusual that you know how to do?

I know how to make situations really awkward really quickly. I don’t even have to try. Isn’t that nice?

7. Name something you made in the last year and show us if you can.

Oh man. I was going to show the video that a group of friends and I made for our end-of-year project in our Spanish class but decided against it because it’s so embarrassing. We filmed a short telenovela and it was cringey. The bloopers part of the video is up on YouTube somewhere but I’m not even going to go look for it.

8. What is your most recent personal project?

Trying to draw in the same style as the video-game Undertale. I just think it’s super cute and quirky and I tried it out last and failed miserably. Doesn’t mean I’m not going to stop trying!

Look at this! It’s so cute yet weird, which is right up my alley.

9. Tell us something that you think about often?

Food. I’m hungry constantly. That and how much I want to be in bed right now.

10. Give us something that is your favorite, but make it oddly specific.

That feeling when, after you’re better from being sick, you take your first clear breath through your nose. That is the best feeling ever and I always tell myself not to take my clear nasal passage for granted. Except the next day I’ve already forgotten what it feels like not to breathe normally until I get sick again. It’s a vicious cycle.

11. Say the first thing that pops into your head.

My favorite color is potato!

… this just confirmed that my brain is all over the place.
