Happy Monday, everyone! It’s currently spring break for me (finally), and what better way to celebrate a week off from classes with a nice, short tag? I’m currently too burnt out from all the midterms I’ve taken over the past couple weeks to brainstorm any blog post ideas. Thank you Norees over at No Reads Too Great for tagging me and saving me from using my tired, tired brain!
The Rules:
- Pingback to the creator of the tag, @bookprincessreviews
- Tag the person who tagged you
- Find an answer to match each prompt
- Have fun!
All of these prompts are your predictions for your…
Next Read
If we’re not going to be considering what I’m currently reading, my next read will probably be Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell. I’ve been meaning to read it for a couple months now but I just haven’t had a chance to. I loved Carry On, so I know I’m going to love the sequel.
Next 5-Star Read
Hm maybe The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee? I’m currently reading it and I’m loving it so far. I can understand why everyone went crazy over it when it was first released. I’m kind of sad that I didn’t start the series earlier with how fun it is, but I’m glad I’ve started it now.
Next 1-Star Read
I’m not sure I have a book for this prompt. I don’t think I’ve ever given a book a one-star rating (if I were to rate a book that low I honestly wouldn’t rate it at all). Also, I would never force myself to read something I know I won’t like (unless it’s required) because that would be a waste of time. I could be using that time and energy reading something I know I would enjoy.
Next Love Interest (or Character that Seems Really Cool to You)
This is a hard one… I think my next book boyfriend *might* be Reid from Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin. Ever since hearing about it at the book festival I recently went to, I’ve been wanting to read it. I think it might be one of my next reads if I can get my Kindle to work >.<
Next Book You’ll Be Buying
Is it sad that I already have an answer for this one and that I didn’t have to think about it? Maybe. Regardless, I know I’m going to be preordering Aurora Burning by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I can’t wait to revisit the The Aurora Cycle world and characters. I kind of miss their sassiness.
Next Book That Will Leave You with a Book Hangover (and Desperately Wanting a Reread or Next in Series)
I immediately knew my answer for this one when I read the prompt. The next book that’ll give me a book hangover will be House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas. I know it’s going to wreck me (in a good way) like all her other works. I’ve had the book in my possession since its release date, but I’ve refrained from reading it up until recently because I wanted to make sure I would be able to read the whole thing with little to no interruptions during break.
Spreading the love! I tag…
… and you! With the whole pandemic going around, if you’re bored and have nothing to do, consider yourself tagged!
Until next time….
Great post! I really want to read Serpent and Dove too!!

Thank you so much for tagging me! I’m awful at predicting things, but I definitely wanna give it a try. 😅 I still have another week before spring break, but these past days have been so weird, I don’t really have a sense of time anymore. Enjoy your reading and stay safe! 💛
