I don’t know about you, but September felt like it went by really fast. I didn’t read much this month since classes are starting to get into the swing of things, and midterm season is about to roll around. Regardless, I still got a bit done book blog wise, so here’s what I’ve been up to for the past month!

As per usual, I decided to dedicate a section of each monthly wrap-up to shout out some people who gave this blog extra love. It’s more of a common practice in the bookish community on Instagram, but I thought I’d bring it here too. Thank you Ashmita @ The Fictional Journal and Blunt Pathway for the extra support this month!

Life Update

September was my birthday month! Because I’m at home learning remotely this semester, I got to celebrate it with my family. My family doesn’t make a huge production out of birthdays (we just have a nice homecooked meal and some cake), but it was nice for a change. Usually, the years I’m out of the house, I just treat myself to some boba, and call it a day.

Other than having a butt-load of assignments (what’s new?) and finally saving up enough to get a Switch Lite, nothing much has happened this month.

How was your September? Did anything exciting happen? Any upcoming releases you’re excited about? Anything you’re looking forward to?

Stay awkward and amazing!

Thank you for the birthday wishes! ❤ ❤

Classes are… tough, but it is what it is. I'm taking a foreign language class with the toughest professor, and I'm struggling T^T I think the reason why this semester has been rough is because I suck at all the subjects I signed up for (which is definitely my fault). Why I thought taking a language, physics, and a statistics classes at the same time was a good idea is beyond me. Thankfully I only have a couple more weeks, so I'll power through this semester! 💪

How is your semester going? I noticed on your Instagram that you were taking a couple classes…?

I'm so glad you told me that Unravel the Dusk was released because I just finished it in record time! It's such a great series!

Oh, I’m sorry to hear about that! Hopefully things will settle down soon. What language are you learning?

I’m taking four classes this semester, and I can’t lie, I’m struggling in every one of them, and I’m incredibly stressful about this year and next one as well )): I like what I’m learning, but I feel like I’m too dumb for this. And commuting to university isn’t easy :/

I’m learning Korean! Honestly, I know how you feel. I feel like I never understand the concepts enough to apply them >0< Hopefully next year won't be as stressful as this year!

Commuting to uni is never easy 😦 How long does it take you to get to campus?

I hope not!! The train ride is around one hour + subway to get to the train from my house (ten minute ride) + bus to get from the station to uni (ten minute ride) + all the time in between when I have to wait for the transportes XD
