It’s really cold outside (I’m doing alright)

Hello! I thought I’d quickly come on here (while I still have WiFi) to say that my family and I are doing okay. Texas right now is experiencing some really cold weather that we’re not used to, and pretty much the whole state is shut down. While a lot of people are experiencing trouble with their electricity and WiFi, my family has been very fortunate enough to have fairly consistent access to electricity. On the flip side, our WiFi has been spotty at best, which is why I’m trying to write and get this out ASAP.

If you’re in Texas and are without electricity, there are places across the state that are opening warming stations. You can check out this website (https://tdem.texas.gov/warm/) to see if there is one near you. Granted, if you have limited WiFi, I highly doubt you’ll be reading this, but if you have someone you know who lives in Texas and is experiencing electricity/heating shortage, please send them this website.

Because of everything that’s going on, I’m not going to be active on this blog/on Instagram for probably the next couple days and maybe for the next week. I do have a couple posts scheduled, but I won’t be able to answer comments and read other people’s posts for a while. Hopefully this arctic blast will pass soon.
