Hello, internet! I’m coming at you with a fun book tag this week that was originally featured on Alyce @ The Bumbling Blogger‘s book tube and was created by Alyce’s partner Sean. Thank you Madeline @ The Bookish Mutant for tagging me!

1. first book in a series

I haven’t started a lot of new series this year, but one of my favorites so far has been These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong. It’s a Romeo & Juliet retelling set in 1920s Shanghai with a bit of a twist, and it’s glorious.
2. two or more copies of the same book

I no longer have two copies of these, but I used to have a hardcover and an ebook version of Grace and Glory by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Because I preferred to read the ebook, I just returned the hardcover.
3. three colors on the cover

This was a surprisingly hard prompt! I chose A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab because it’s red, black, and cream.
4. four or more perspectives
The only books I can think of that has a bunch of different perspectives is the Throne of Glass series and the An Ember in the Ashes series.
5. a five star read

My last 5 star read was A Sky Beyond the Storm. It was sad to say goodbye to characters that I’ve grown to love, but I’m glad this series got a finale that it deserves.
6. six or more short stories

I’m not sure how many short stories are in this book (I *think* there are 11), but I’m pretty sure there are more than six. I impulse-bought this book because I saw how pretty it was on Instagram, and I have no regrets. The pictures inside are beautiful, and the stories were a fun addition to The Cruel Prince world.
7. a seven on the cover or the spine

This might be cheating, but the only book I could think of is Saga, Vol. 7. When in doubt, find the seventh book in a series.
8. eight letters in the title

I feel like I talk about the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson a lot, but I can’t recommend it enough. It’s one of my top favorite series of all time, and any fantasy lover will absolutely adore this series!
9. book ends on a page ending with a nine

Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner has 239 pages!
10. ten books in a series
The only series I could think of is the Ms. Marvel comic series by G. Willow Wilson. There are 10 volumes (as of right now), and I have yet to read the last one.

I’ve been doing a lot of tags lately, and I don’t want to overwhelm other bloggers. If you want to do this, consider yourself tagged!

Stay awkward and amazing!

Great answers!! AGH I didn’t even think of comics for the last prompt, I totally could’ve used some really good ones…[infinite string of clown emojis]

Thanks for tagging me! I had a really hard time with that last question! I had to dive deep into my Goodreads bookshelves to see what I could find XD

It’s such a great comic! If you like superhero comics in general, you’re probably going to like Ms. Marvel 😀
