A Court of Thorns and Roses series recap (books 1 – 3.1)

I don’t know about you, but it’s been a hot minute since I’ve read the ACOTAR series. In honor of the newest book, A Court of Silver Flame, coming out next week, I thought I’d summarize what has happened in the last three books (and one short story) for anyone who needs a refresher before book 4. I’m going to yada yada a lot of the series, but that being said…

THERE ARE MAJOR SPOILERS FOR A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES, A COURT OF MIST AND FURY, A COURT OF WINGS AND RUIN, AND A COURT OF FROST AND STARLIGHT!

You have been warned.

ACOTAR Inner Circles’ Reactions to Books (told in gifs)

I always wondered what it would be like to have fictional characters come to life. That got me thinking, what would it be like if I became friends with them and took them to my favorite spot, which is of course any place with books. Then, I was wondering what they would do if they got a book in their hands.

I could describe what I’d think their actions would be, but I think .gifs do a better job.

I narrowed my pick of characters to those in ACOTAR because Feyre likes to read books, so at least one person will appreciate a sudden appearance of a book.

Top 10 Books I Read in 2017

2017 is coming to an end… and thank goodness for that. It’s been a rough year, to say the least, but that didn’t stop me from reading some pretty freaking awesome books. I didn’t read as much as I wanted to this year, but that just means I’m going to try extra hard in 2018 to get to all the books I want to read.

Kiss, Marry, Kill: ACOTAR edition

21807284-_sx540_

A while back I made a post doing the Kiss, Marry, Kill game with the Throne of Glass characters. I enjoyed playing the game (and I hope people enjoyed reading about the results) that I decided to do it again but with Sarah J. Maas’s other series, A Court of Thorns and Roses. Just a fair warning, I am including characters from all three books so if you haven’t finished the trilogy, I highly suggest not to read this post unless you’re okay with being spoiled.

For those who’ve read the series but don’t quite remember all the characters I talk about, I made a list of all the characters with very brief descriptions of who they are as a refresher.

ACOTAR #3.5 Title Reveal!

I don’t really check my phone in the morning or even during the day since I’m at school and my phone doesn’t work inside the school. So when I got home and opened up my Instagram to see Sarah J. Maas’ new post, I was like:

I’m a little late to this but Sarah J. Maas released the title of the fourth ACOTAR book! I feel like a lot of us were really confused as to what would happen next after the third book, A Court of Wings and Ruin, as Sarah J. Maas said that the last three books would be set in the same world as the first three but follow a different set of characters.

If you want more information about that, I made a post here.

Anyway, without delay, here is the title of the next ACOTAR book!

(Forewarning: there might be teeny, tiny spoilers beyond this point so if you haven’t caught up on the series yet I would not continue.)

Spring 2017 Anticipated Releases

Spring is already here. Winter seemed a bit too short for me. I don’t know about you guys, but living in the southern states of the US means that our winters are short and are summers are really long. Heck, spring weather started coming in the middle of last month.

I don’t have a lot of anticipated releases this spring so I decided to just compile them all into one post.

All the synopses are from Goodreads.
