Holy moly! Today marks the anniversary of when I started this blog. I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for six years now.
I normally don’t post on Sundays, but today is slightly special. It marks the day I have officially been book blogging for FIVE YEARS. My goodness, how time flies! I didn’t think I could ever keep up a personal project for that long yet here we are.
In honor of today, I decided to do a little something….

Hello earthlings!
I said a couple months ago in my four year blogiversary post that I would be doing a giveaway and today is that day! I know it’s a bit late, but it is happening! I don’t know why, but I have the urge to warn everyone that this giveaway is small.
I’ve never done a giveaway before, but hopefully I’ll make everything clear in this post.
I’m making this post super short because I need to pack (I’m in the process of moving right now), but it’s officially my four year blog anniversary! I can’t believe it’s already been so long since I decided to take a leap of faith with the internet and start writing about the things I love.
Today, August 16th, 2017, marks the second anniversary of this blog! I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for two whole years.
It’s kind of crazy that this all started because I was bored one day. Seriously. That’s why I made this blog. Because I was bored. Great story, isn’t it?
I know this is going to sound cheesy, but I’m so very thankful for all the people I’ve met over the book blogging community. It’s nice to be able to share my passions with others who get me. I’ve made some friends over these two years and hope to make many, many more!
Not only did I grow as a book lover because of the community, I grew as a person (I’m still cringing a little bit with all the cheese I’m pouring into this). I’ve learned to break out of my shell and speak up more in conversations. This community has inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. And for this, I say thank you!
Thank you all for a great blogging year and I hope to continue to make posts for many more!
Until next time….
Yesterday (August 16th) marked the day of my one year blogiversary.
I can’t believe I’ve been on the internet for one year now.
Heck, I can’t believe I actually committed to something other than family, friends, and books for over a year.
I don’t want to sound too cliche or cheesy, but I’m super thankful for everyone that I’ve met on the internet because of this blog. Everyone has been nothing but kind and supportive. (Gosh, pour on more cheese, would ya Jessica?)
Gladly.
This blog has given me an outlet to talk about what I love with other people who share the same love as I do. There aren’t many people in my personal circle that love reading and books as much as I do. Sure, a lot of my friends and family love to read, but they don’t have an obsession. Sometimes they thing I’m crazy.
No, I’m just fangirling.
But here on the book blogosphere, we’re all crazy about books, and I can feel like I can fangirl a lot more.
I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that it’s already been one year since I’ve started this blog.
I’m never going to stop reading, and hopefully not stop blogging as well.
Once a fangirl, always a fangirl.
Hope everyone has a lovely day!
