Spooky Scary Book Tag

Halloween is approaching and I still don’t know what I’m going to dress up as. Chances are I’m going to procrastinate on making my costume to the very last minute, like I do every year.

I was tagged by the lovely Heather over at The Sassy Book Geek! Don’t forget to check out her blog and give her some love! ❤ (This tag was originally created by Clever Fox!)

Although I love the holiday of Halloween, I am a big chicken. I don’t like scary things. I don’t like scary movies, and I’m terrified of haunted houses. You can’t get me within a mile of a haunted house, no matter how mild the scares are.

I also don’t read a lot of scary books either. I’ve got a fairly vivid and irrational imagination, and I don’t need scary stories to help me conjure up monsters in my head. That being said, a lot of my book choices for this tag won’t actually be all that scary.

Celebrating the Little Things Tag

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, so I thought it would be a great time to celebrate everything I’m thankful for, even the little things.

I should be more thankful everyday for everything that I have and the world I live in instead of only being thankful for it on one day. I think Thanksgiving serves as a reminder to be thankful for what you have and see how far we’ve come since the beginning. It’s also a time to spend with family and friends and all be grateful together.

All the Series Ever (Read, Reading, To Be Read) Tag

image

I was tagged by the lovely Aralyn over at Paper Addictions & Magic. Thanks so much for tagging me! I was looking for a good tag to do, and Aralyn just gave me one.

This tag was created by Fadwa over at Word Wonders.

The only rule that goes with this tag is that you write down whatever comes to mind first when you think about a book series that you’ve either read, are reading, or going to read.

I will only consider a series “read” if I’ve read all the books in the series. This means unfinished series like Throne of Glass and The Dark Artifices will not be considered “read” (they would be considered “currently reading”). Although I believe novellas are a part of a series, I will not include them in this tag.

3 Days, 3 Quotes Tag #2 (Day 2)

image

If you want to see day 1 of this tag, click here.

Ever since my friend introduced me to Hamilton (the Broadway musical), I’ve been obsessed. I listen to the album all the time. I don’t think I’ve gone a day since without at least hearing on of their songs. (Granted, I set My Shot as my alarm so… yeah. Hamilton is so amazing that I will actually wake up when I hear it.)

3 Days, 3 Quotes Tag #2 (Day 1)

image

I was tagged to do this tag again by Loreva @ La Book Dreamer. Thanks so much for tagging me! Don’t forget to check out her blog. It’s amazing!

For three days, I post one of my favorite quotes (or just a quote that had an impact on me). As you may know, I love the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I mean, LOVE it. So obviously I have a couple favorite quotes from there.

Here’s one from Throne of Glass

“You could rattle the stars,” she whispered. “You could do anything, if you only dared. And deep down, you know it, too. That’s what scares you most.”
