The Anti-TBR Tag

We know what a TBR is (to be read). A lot of bookworms have TBRs long enough to last a lifetime. But one thing I’ve never heard of in all my years as an online bookworm is an anti-TBR. When I saw this tag (originally created by Nicole @ Nicole & Her Books on YouTube), I was intrigued.

Basically, the questions revolve around books/authors that you wouldn’t put in your TBR (hence the name). I’ve seen other people’s answers to these questions, and some of them are s p i c y.

(Hopefully I won’t get cancelled by the end of this.)

Let’s get into it!

Finally Fall Book Tag

Finally Fall Book Tag

I don’t know about you, but I freaking love the fall. Maybe it’s because where I live it’s either scorching hot or freezing cold with no in between. Maybe it’s because I’m constantly sweaty (ew, I know) and can’t handle the heat despite being born and raised in the southern part of the US. Maybe it’s because I can finally bust out my comfy sweaters and walk outside without freezing my buttocks off. TL;DR: I like fall because I can go outside and actually enjoy the weather for once. Fall for us lasts maybe one week. Two, if we’re lucky.

So yeah… when I saw this “finally fall” book tag, I knew this was the thing for me. On top of that, I was tagged by the lovely Norees @ No Reads Too Great! Thanks for tagging me!

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Book Tag

image

I was perusing the internet, looking for something to write about, when I saw that Marta @ The Book Mermaid had done an Animal Crossing tag. Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m absolutely obsessed with Animal Crossing. While I don’t have a Nintendo Switch to play the New Horizons game that was released (sort of) recently, I do play the app version called Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. The game is very mundane, but that’s what I love about it. There are little to no expectations regarding what you should do. You get to take everything at your own pace.

This tag was created by Enne @ Our Worlds of Words. Please go check them and this amazing tag out! ❤

Currently Reading Tag

Hello, earthlings! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on the blogosphere. It’s currently midterm season, meaning that I’ve been having tests back to back for the past couple weeks. Thankfully, I’m done with most of my tests until finals so I’ll *hopefully* have more time to read (and sleep).

Anyway, I wanted to do a tag to give my tired brain a break, and lo and behold I saw that Anna @ My Bookish Dream did one that I’ve never done before! I wasn’t tagged, but it seems like a lot of fun so I’m giving it a try!

The Fall Bucket List Book Tag

Hello, lovelies! University has been cranking up its difficulty at the moment and I’ve been struggling to keep up with posting regularly. Thankfully, Marta @ The Book Mermaid saved my butt by tagging me in a nice and easy book tag!

Image result for fall gif

I freaking love fall. Or, more realistically, I love the idea of fall. I live in Texas, so it gets pretty hot in the summer. I recently moved cities now that I’m going to university and the place where I moved to is way more humid than where I used to live. Humidity + heat + large campus is not a good look. I look forward to fall every year, but the typical fall weather only lasts a week here in Texas. We have six months of summer, one week of fall, six months of winter, and one week of spring. Basically, Texas hates nice temperatures. Anyhow, I love the thought of autumn, and I’m ready to fall straight into this tag! (bad, dry pun intended)

The Rules

  1. Link back to the original creator (Tiffany @ Read by Tiffany) in your post.
  2. Feel free to use any of my graphics in your post, or create your own!
  3. Tag 7 other people at the end of your post, and let them know you’ve tagged them.

Identity Crisis Book Tag

Hello! I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve been on the blogosphere.

Image result for hi gif

Over the end of the summer, I scheduled a whole bunch of book reviews to tide me over into the first month of college. I just wanted to make sure I got acclimated to my new environment, and I didn’t want to add onto the already pretty rigorous workload (at least for the first month). Now I’m back, and I’ve been tagged by Norees @ No Reads Too Great and The Orangutan Librarian to do this tag! Please, please, please check out their blogs because they are both very lovely folks who make some pretty interesting content!

THE RULES:

  1. Take all the quizzes down below and record your answers.
  2. NO CHEATING. You get one shot to take each quiz.
  3. Give credit to the creator Loretta @ The Laughing Listener or tag her on twitter @LaughnListener so she can see everyone’s answers!!
  4. Tag some friends to spread the fun!

I’m always down to try some bookish quizzes to further procrastinate on my homework assignments, and this tag gives me an excuse to do so so let’s do it!

[Also, a fair warning: I have either not read a lot of these/it’s been a while since I’ve read a book in this series, so I’m not going to know a lot of characters that have been chosen.]

Summer Bucket List Tag!

August is just around the corner, which means there’s only a month before classes start up! What better way to celebrate the last third of the summer but with a bucket list tag?

Stranger Things Book Tag

created by- arunning-commentary.blogspot.com.png

I wasn’t tagged by anyone, but I wanted to write something in the spirit of the 4th of July (a.k.a. America’s Independence Day). I asked myself, what’s going to happen on this day? Probably cook outs, hanging out with family and friends, fireworks, and STRANGER THINGS SEASON 3, BABYYYYYYYY!

Let me tell you, I have been waiting for this season to come out for too long. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT and now I can finally do it! My family doesn’t really celebrate the 4th of July other than going to watch the fireworks in the evening, so you bet your bottom dollar that I’m going to be spending the whole day binging the whole season.

Anyhow, in the spirit of 4th of July and the next season of Stranger Things coming out, I’m doing the Stranger Things book tag.

I got the graphics for this tag from Flavia the Bibliophile. (The creator of this tag is Nisha @ A Running Commentary but all the links I clicked send me to this page saying it doesn’t exist. I think she either deleted her blog or changed the name….)
