The moment I opened up Instagram, I was met with a pleasant surprise. After months and months of waiting, Sarah J. Maas finally revealed the title of the fourth book of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series!
Drumroll please!
I don’t really check my phone in the morning or even during the day since I’m at school and my phone doesn’t work inside the school. So when I got home and opened up my Instagram to see Sarah J. Maas’ new post, I was like:
I’m a little late to this but Sarah J. Maas released the title of the fourth ACOTAR book! I feel like a lot of us were really confused as to what would happen next after the third book, A Court of Wings and Ruin, as Sarah J. Maas said that the last three books would be set in the same world as the first three but follow a different set of characters.
If you want more information about that, I made a post here.
Anyway, without delay, here is the title of the next ACOTAR book!
(Forewarning: there might be teeny, tiny spoilers beyond this point so if you haven’t caught up on the series yet I would not continue.)
I was in the class yesterday when my friend and fellow Sarah J. Maas fan squealed and shoved her phone in front of my face. On her phone was this:
It’s the title to the sixth book of the Throne of Glass series! Tower of Dawn! It sounds majestic. I’m expecting a lot of adventure and thrill. Although I want Aelin and the rest of her crew to be part of this story, I’m assuming they’re not going to be. I think it will be kind of like the fifth book. Chaol was briefly mentioned for a grand total of two times in 700 pages. This time, Aelin and the crew will probably be in the background of the story.
The Chaol novel was originally going to be a novella, but Sarah J. Maas wrote so much to the point they’re turning into a book. That means that there’s going to be seven full books in the series, not just six!
I’m a little scared to see what the cover is going to look like. I just hope that it’ll match the rest of the series. I’ve been collecting the hardcovers because they’re gorgeous and matching. I hope this book doesn’t screw that up.
I’ve also heard that there’s going to be some kind of Throne of Glass world guide, which will be interesting! I’m not ready for this series to end so soon. There’s only going to be one more book after this one! I don’t think I’ll ever be ready to say goodbye to the world and characters that I’m now very invested in.
Thank goodness there’s still the A Court of Thorns and Roses series to look forward to these upcoming years.
Until next time….
Ok so this is very impromptu but I got home and was checking the Internet and came across this:
*internally fangirling/screaming/dying happily*
Sorry not sorry, but this is the highlight of my week.
Honestly. GAH! I’m so happy right now.
I just realized while making this post that the abbreviation of this book is EOS, like the lip balm. XD
TOG, COM, HOF, QOS, and now EOS!
I bet this book is going to be action-packed with a lot of ass-kickery involved. Even the title sounds action-packed.
I can’t wait for the Empire of Shadows to be released!
