I was in the class yesterday when my friend and fellow Sarah J. Maas fan squealed and shoved her phone in front of my face. On her phone was this:
And the title for Chaol's novel/TOG6 is... 😁💕📖💕😁 So excited to finally be able to share the title with you guys! This book is so, so close to my heart, and I've had such a blast working on it these past several months--can't wait for you all to read it this September!!! 💖 (And just to clarify: TOG7--aka the final book--will be out in 2018!) #throneofglass #towerofdawn #chaolwestfall #nesrynfaliq #yrenetowers #isitseptemberyet
It’s the title to the sixth book of the Throne of Glass series! Tower of Dawn! It sounds majestic. I’m expecting a lot of adventure and thrill. Although I want Aelin and the rest of her crew to be part of this story, I’m assuming they’re not going to be. I think it will be kind of like the fifth book. Chaol was briefly mentioned for a grand total of two times in 700 pages. This time, Aelin and the crew will probably be in the background of the story.
The Chaol novel was originally going to be a novella, but Sarah J. Maas wrote so much to the point they’re turning into a book. That means that there’s going to be seven full books in the series, not just six!
I’m a little scared to see what the cover is going to look like. I just hope that it’ll match the rest of the series. I’ve been collecting the hardcovers because they’re gorgeous and matching. I hope this book doesn’t screw that up.
I’ve also heard that there’s going to be some kind of Throne of Glass world guide, which will be interesting! I’m not ready for this series to end so soon. There’s only going to be one more book after this one! I don’t think I’ll ever be ready to say goodbye to the world and characters that I’m now very invested in.
Thank goodness there’s still the A Court of Thorns and Roses series to look forward to these upcoming years.
Until next time….
