Thoughts

The more I read, the more I’m falling in love with this series!

So much goes on in this book. You thought the second book had a lot of turmoil? Well guess what, there’s more!

A lot of important discoveries happen in this book. Some good, some bad, depending on how you look at it.

All the characters went to senior prom together and it was the cutest thing ever. I wanted to squeal so loudly when I read that part because I couldn’t contain my inner fangirl.

Daemon and Katy’s relationship gets more serious in this book (and it’s cute as heck). Sorry guys. I just… GAH! I love them so much I can’t even explain it in words!

What I’ve noticed throughout the Lux series is that the title of the book is something new that the character(s) discovers. Whether that is emotions, information, or physical objects (mainly physical objects), so far all the books are named after the main thing that Katy discovers in that book.

This book was no exception.

There were a lot more death than I expected. To be completely honest, I didn’t expect anyone to die.

At least Daemon and Katy still have each other.

Characters

Daemon Black

Still his usual, cocky self.

Katy “Kat” Swartz

Still her badass self. Funny thing is, I don’t tend to like a lot of female protagonists in YA books, but I actually genuinely like Katy. I’m pretty sure I’ve said this in previous reviews, but I would love to have Katy as a friend.

Dee Black

She avoids Katy and blames her for everything that happens. Katy tries to make things up with her, but Dee won’t hear any bit of it.

Dawson Black

I don’t blame him for how he acts in this book. He’s been through a super tough time.

Blake Saunders

Nope.

Luc

Not sure if I like him or not. He’s the type of person to help others when it benefits them, even though it looks like he’s doing it because he “cares” about the person. I don’t know. He’s hard to figure out.

Conclusion

I give this book 4.5 / 5 BBC Sherlock heads. I love this series so much and Daemon + Katy are my OTP.
