This Week’s Topic: Characters I’d Want as Family

I love my family, and no one can replace them. So I decided to pick characters to be additions to my extended family rather than my immediate family.

The Weasley twins (Harry Potter series) as my cousins

I think they would be awesome cousins to hang out with. I was thinking about making them my brothers, but then I realized that I would probably go crazy with all the pranks they would pull.

Magnus Bane (The Mortal Instruments series) as my uncle

He just seems like he would be a cool uncle.

Tessa Gray (The Infernal Devices trilogy) as my aunt

Throughout all the series of the Shadowhunter world, Tessa Gray (in my mind) portrayed herself as a maternal figure. She seems like one of those aunts that you could just talk over coffee or go shopping with when your mother is too busy. She also seems really huggable. I don’t know. Am I the only one who thinks this?

Jackaby (Jackaby series) as my crazy uncle

He’s the type of uncle where you could just go to his house and watch him work for hours. If he doesn’t want you in the same room as he is, you could explore the rest of the mystical house. Every visit would be a different adventure.

If you haven’t read Jackaby before (which I highly suggest you do), it’s like a cross between Sherlock and Dr. Who (according to the blurb).

Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter series) as my grandfather

Come on. It’s Dumbledore. No words necessary.
