The Questions

1. Reading on the couch or on the bed?

On the bed, 100%. I find couches to be very uncomfortable.

2. Male main character or female main character?

I choose female main characters, only because I can relate to them more. I still think we need more male main characters in YA literature though!

3. Sweet snacks or salty snacks when reading?

Hm… Do I have to choose? I like both. I eat different kinds of snacks depending on the type of book I’m reading. If it’s action-packed, I gear toward salty snacks. If it’s more of a romantic story, I eat sweet snacks. If it’s both… Well, let’s just say my stomach would not be happy with me with the amount of sweet and salty snacks I eat.

4. Trilogies or quartets?

Definitely trilogies. I think quartets are too long. Plus, trilogies mean that I have one less book to wait to be released.

5. First person point of view or third person point of view?

I love first person POV. I love reading about a certain characters thoughts and feelings about the whole story, especially if it’s a romance. The way that Jennifer L. Armentrout switches from Daemon and Katy in the last couple books of the Lux series makes me so happy.

6. Reading at night or in the morning?

I read at night more than I read in the morning. The only times I have time to read is during the weekends, and I don’t even wake up in the morning. I sleep in so much that by the time I’m awake, it’s already lunch time.

7. Libraries or bookstores?

Libraries are amazing. They let you borrow books without having to pay for it. They also have a quiet atmosphere where you can study, work, or relax.

8. Books that make you laugh or make you cry?

I hate crying. Crying makes me feel awful in the inside. That’s why I like books that make me laugh.

9. Black book covers or white book covers?

I find that I’m drawn to black book covers because it signals something intense, and I love intense books. A lot of fantasy book covers have a dark color theme to it.

10. Character driven or plot driven stories?

Both? I can’t choose between the two. I choose book based on the plot, characters, and world more than how the story is told. I don’t really have a preference, as long as I enjoy the story.

The bed is definitely the best place to read. It’s so comfy!

I have to sit up though. If I lay down, I would yawn quickly and sleep before I’m ready 😂

Same here! I can’t read while laying down because I’ll go right to sleep! 😂

Thanks for tagging me! I’ve recently just done (that doesn’t sound at all right) this tag and if you like you can check it out here: https://midnightbiblioblog.wordpress.com/2016/11/12/this-or-that-book-tag/ But again, thank you for tagging me. I agree with the trilogies or quartets answer. I think they’d be way too long. I’m not a big series reader. I think three books is just enough if there has to be more than one. Also, along with your second answer- you do have to wait a while. And, I think that’s quite annoying because a lot of the time I forget about the sequels releasing and then I haven’t finished the story. Anyway, great answers!

I’m a pretty impatient person when it comes to waiting for books. The less books I need to wait for, the better. 😂

Hahah, I agree. When you have to wait for like the same month each year for the next book in the series. I think I’m just impatient because I forgot about the book. it’s especially annoying if you liked the first book a lot.

Thanks for tagging me Jessica! I also like black book covers you’re right when you say it means they’re more intense because I usually find that to be true as well.
This seems like a really fun tag even though I don’t know how I’ll choose between some of these! Can’t wait to do it!
